This Privacy Policy is here to explain that Kia Motors Corporation ('KMC') takes online privacy seriously. KMC's online privacy protecting policy regarding information you provide during your visits to Kia Distributor and Dealer Management System ('GPMS') is described on this Privacy Policy. Please read the following Privacy Policy carefully to understand the type of information that may be collected and requested from you as GPMS user and how it is used. If you cannot agree with the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy, please do not use nor access to GPMS.

1. Collection and Use of Information
When you register with GPMS you may be asked for personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, inspection location(GPS), etc. ('Personal Information').By giving such Personal Information you will need to consent to it being used as described in this Privacy Policy. The Personal Information only necessary for the provision of GPMS services to you will be collected and stored appropriately against unauthorized access, disclosure or destruction of data.

Please be advised that your Personal Information will be stored within KMC's server in the Republic of Korea and your Personal Information would not be shared with third parties without your consent. However, KMC reserves the right to disclose Personal Information or any personally identifiable information we collect through GPMS if we are required to do so by law or if we reasonably believe that the disclosure is necessary in order to (a) fulfill a government request; (b) conform with the requirements of law or to comply with legal process served on us; (c) protect or defend the legal rights or property of KMC, GPMS or its users, or third party licensors of any material on GPMS; or (d) address and detect some technical or security issues on GPMS.

Your Personal Information will be treated confidentially and will only be processed by KMC's authorized IT service provider, Hyundai Autoever in accordance with national and European law. KMC is headquartered in the Republic of Korea, which is not a member state of the EU Data Protection Authority, as is Hyundai Autoever, which is also seated in the Republic of Korea. Regardless of location, KMC and Hyundai Autoever will not disclose your Personal Information to any third person without your prior consent.

2. Security
GPMS has security measures in place to protect you from the loss, misuse and alteration of your Personal Information held in GPMS.GPMS uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to ensure that your Personal Information is secure and confidential. All account information is password protected. Where appropriate, industry standard SSL-encryption is used to protect data transmission. All security on GPMS is treated seriously and reviewed by the respective IT specialist staff.

3. Policy Changes
KMC reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. If any substantial changes are made in the way your Personal Information is used, you will be notified by email at the email address provided in your user profile, and/or by posting of the changes on the GPMS main page.
